Lost ?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Have you ever been lost and needed directions to a place of destination? Specific detailed directions? Well I have and I admit that I look for landmarks such as, food establishments, places of business, hospitals, and schools to name a few. The best information is from a state map or searching the internet for a map.

There are multipul times in our lives we will be lost and need directions. We need them to follow recipes, to assemble toys or furniture items. Children need parents to direct them in how to live life. We need directions on how to take tests at school and for certain jobs we apply for.

If you know a little about, or nothing about Jesus or GOD, then specific detailed directions are needed to get to them. The Bible shows the way clearly and the only direct route to GOD is through Jesus, GOD'S son. We are shown this by John 14:6:  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Life is too short to put off knowing Jesus as your Savior and GOD as your heavenly Father. This video shows this in a simple but wonderful way.

What does it mean to be "lost" when talking about a person and their soul? It means that a person does not have a personal relationship with Jesus or GOD. A lost person does not know who the Father (GOD) and Son (Jesus)  are. How do people get to GOD and Jesus? How does one go about having a personal relationship with them?

Asking in faith and believing for GOD to save them and ask Jesus to come into their hearts (spiritual heart) is the place to start at. Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Once you are saved by Jesus shed blood you will have a personal relationship with Jesus and GOD, and Heaven will be your eternal home someday!

In this video you'll find Don Piper's account of his death, his experience of Heaven and his return to life. It is a most amazing true story that is well documented.

One might ask why do I have to bother with all of this anyway? The answer is that there is a direct opposite of Heaven, Jesus and GOD. The direct opposite is a place called hell and satan. Hell is a place people will go to if they are not saved by GOD.  Because of the sin of unbelief (not believing in GOD or Jesus) people choose this place called hell. Hell is a place made especially for satan (the devil) and his angels.  Matthew 25:41: Then shall He say unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Hell is a place of seperation from GOD where there is only despair and torments and no hope of escape. GOD does not want us to go to hell and be seperated from Him. Satan and hell are as real and as is Heaven, Jesus and GOD! People are given a "free will" which means we can choose to believe in Jesus and GOD or not, and  to believe what the Bible says or not. Through our free will we choose where we spend eternal life.

Bill Wiese tells the story of his trip into hell while in a vision, and uses film clips from hollywood to give a visual of what hell might be like.

This scripture gives a strong, specific, detailed accounting of hell and what it's like according to Luke 16:19-26 ~~ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,  21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
The bottom line here is that heaven or hell is a personal choice to make while still living. After death there will not be another chance of making such a choice. Satan will use a person's mind, emotions, feelings and thoughts to turn them away from GOD. I Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

GOD sent His son Jesus to die on a cross for our sins, which shows His supreme love for people. John 19:18: Where they crucified Him, and two other with Him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross so we would have a choice of heaven. Pray and seek Jesus with all of your heart while you still can. He will hear you and answer you!
