Accountable Christian Encouragement

Saved !

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22

We become Christians, children of GOD after He saves our souls. Before that we are His creation. The Bible is full of scripture showing us how to live a life pleasing to Him. The above scripture is to remind us to put into practice what we have heard. Not only that, but to share with all people what we learn from our Heavenly Father through His son Jesus!

The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof". The spoken word is very powerful and as Christians to be used for good, not evil. This is especially true when we share our faith in GOD with people who have not yet been saved by Him.

We have a responsibility to talk to unsaved people and share the Bible with them, to be very convicted about their lost souls. We need to be the hands and feet of Jesus, going and doing those things He put into practice while He lived here on the earth. The words we speak as we share our faith in Jesus, are critical and should never be taken lightly. Also our everyday life is being observed by unsaved people and we need to be sure we are setting Christ like examples, so when we do talk to them about being saved, we will be an excellent witness of Jesus.

This video will help you visualize what I am trying to express through words and what I am trying to share.

Powerful and convicting video isn't it? But is it enough to motivate us Christians into action along with our words? What if we Christians aren't even sharing words of salvation to the unsaved? These questions can only be answered by each of us individually. We are not responsible for what another Christian is or isn't doing to share salvation, but we need to encourage, inspire, motivate and pray for each other to do the best we can to see people saved!

These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33. Jesus lets us know right up front that in Him we have peace, even when we as Christians have tribulation in this world. He then says "but be of good cheer", to encourage us. Then He goes on to remind us He has overcome the world and since we are to be like Him, we too will overcome the world!

So nothing should be able to stop us from sharing Jesus, especially satan! Satan will use fear of rejection to stop us from witnssing to the unsaved, procrastination, thinking ourselves so busy that we put off talking to the unsaved. Good intentions of sharing Jesus are only that (good intentions), unless those good intentions are put into action.

Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. Matthew 9:37-38. In this scripture Jesus is talking to His disciples about peoples souls being the harvest, and the workers being few. We too are Jesus disciples, and He counts on us to be those workers. We are to work and to pray for the harvest of souls.

That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, are in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me. John 17:21. When Jesus is talking about Christians being one, it is to bring us all together so the world can see unity in us, so we can be a better witness to the world of unsaved people when they see that unity. My prayer is that Christians will overcome any differences of opinions we have so we can be one in GOD and Jesus. Then let us focus on seeing souls being saved.

God bless you to be the hands and feet of Jesus and share His words of salvation. May His peace fill you, but make you passionate to see souls saved!
